Everyone is welcome at Leeds Laces FC!

We invite women, trans and non-binary people of all backgrounds and ages (18+) to join us.

Whether you’ve been playing your whole life or have never touched a ball - we operate a space and open space for anyone of any ability to give it a go.

You can join as a competitive player looking to play matches every weekend or just join for some weekly structured but fun exercise, learning new skills with new friends. No long-term commitment is required.

Kit

To attend training sessions just throw on some trainers or football boots if you have them, shorts and a t-shirt! (You’ll also want some warmer and waterproof layers for when the British sun isn’t performing!)

We provide kit for match days, all you need to bring is shin-pads and football boots.

Training

Every Wednesday from 7-9pm at Shaftesbury Field, Osmondthorpe, Leeds, LS9 9AB.

On-street parking is available and various direct bus routes stop right outside the training ground (Shaftesbury Junction) including…

• 91 - Via Headingley, Meanwood, Chapel Allerton, Potternewton & Harehills

• 56 - Via Hyde Park, Woodhouse, Leeds City Centre & Burmantofts

• 843/840 - Via Whinmoor, Killingbeck & Cross Gates

• 19 - Via Colton

Regular buses run every 15minutes from Leeds Bus Station.

Please note: there are no changing or toilet facilities at our summer training venue (Shaftesbury Field) - this is something we are addressing for next year as part of our key commitment to provide excellent facilities to a players, coaches and wider team members.

Matches

Matches take place from September to May, every Sunday at 2pm either at our home ground in Leeds (venue tbc) or away at the oppositions ground across Yorkshire - from Harrogate, to Skipton to Pontefract.

Membership fees

Player membership fees cover costs for training, matchdays, referees, educational workshops, kit and development opportunities.

• One-off joining fee - £15

• Summer (June - August) monthly fee - £20

• Winter (September - May) monthly fee - £30

All new members get two training sessions for free - with no commitment!

Try us out for free and if you decide not to continue, we understand and it hasn’t cost you a penny!

Everyone who joins in over Summer Training also gets their own personalised Founding Season Member certificate 🏅
